Establishing New Normals
We all have a God-given destiny bigger than the life we are living. God wants to work in partnership with us to reach out to a broken world in need of love and healing. The challenge is that we are often kept busy maintaining the status quo rather than being effective in pursuing our passions and fulfilling our destiny. Whilst we may understand that it is the small, daily actions we perform that ultimately determines the path of our lives, many of us find it a struggle to put the right actions in place to see our destiny become reality.
Cheers to the one who had the courage to sink!
One of my favourite stories in the Bible clearly illustrates what it’s like to step out in faith. The Disciples were travelling on a boat across the Sea of Galilee when they saw a figure walking on water. They were rightfully terrified until the figure identified Himself as Jesus. Still unsure, one of the Disciples, Peter, cries out, ‘If it’s really you, then call me out onto the water!’ Jesus does so and Peter walks on water. That is, until Peter sees the waves and the storm, takes his eyes off Jesus and begins to sink. In desperation he cries for help. Jesus immediately grabs him, stops him from sinking and says: ‘Faint-heart, what got into you?’ Reading commentaries on this passage I frequently see Peter chastised for his lack of faith - if only he kept his eyes on Jesus, then he could have kept on walking on water, etc. Now all this is true, but what about the fact that Peter was the only person to have the faith to step out of the boat in the first place?

How to live an extraordinary life
Some years back I had the privilege of sharing a meal with the CEO of a large publicly-listed company (with market capital of over US$185 billion).
Here’s a man with a proven track record, who’s continually sought after for his time and opinions, and he shares with me his top two tips for success (one of which I’m about to share with you).
So here it is……
Steve Jobs, Mark Zuckerberg and You!
A Welcome note from Pete Low
I’m so excited about the community of entrepreneurs and business influencers that will be joining us at this year’s Mavericks Convention.
I love the influence that comes from unreasonable people. People that ask questions of possibility rather than merely accept the status quo. People that are happy to break the rules (not the law) in order to create a better life, a better world, a better future, a legacy. People that live with the firm belief that their best days are truly ahead.
